15 thousand new employs for this year

*Ministry announces advances for Nicaragua if five laws remaining are approved

By Juan Arévalo

In a trip with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade, MIDIT, the team of La Jornada in Spanish and English edition, made an interview to the Ministry Alejandro Argüello Choucel, and he said that five laws are left to be accepted in the Nicaraguan Parliament so that the Free Trade Treaty, FTT, with the Central American Countries, Dominic Republic and the United States, begin.

He said that the goal of the MIDIT, is to “have at least, 15 thousand new jobs for this year” with the investments from other countries. Several investors that are coming from other countries are from textiles enterprises, agro industry, electric industry and many other kinds.

In these groups of laws that –maybe today- are going to be approved in the Parliament, includes one against corruption and other about international liberty. The Ministry said that if these laws are accepted by the deputies, developments shall come faster to the country that is the heart of Central America, Nicaragua.

For the Nicaraguan people he said that MIDIT is doing it well, dealing with overseas and making contacts with the United States market that is the biggest worldwide. He also send a message for the Nicaraguan that are living in other countries “to help buying the Nicaraguan produces and to be proud because Nicaragua is growing and is opening and expanding its market all over the world, because that is the only way how Nicaragua can succeed” extended Argüello.

About the first hydroponics container that is going to be exported to the United States, the Ministry Choucel said that with the hydroponics investment, Nicaragua is going to be the answer for those who do not believe in the FTT or best known in Spanish Cafta-Dr, and that with this first container that will be exported to the US, Nicaragua is going to be as an example not only nationally but internationally.
